Auto parts
Let
us start from the beginning and move quickly down the list of auto
parts you may consider and/or need for you vehicle:
· Alarms, keyless entry and security
These are auto parts becoming more and more popular. You get the
little whoot-wheet noise and flashing front and taillights when
you press the little button on your key chain. And if someone attempts
to rob you the alarm goes off.
· Auto appearel
Car bras, cool lights splashguards etc. but like the above not vital
auto parts.
· Audio, video and electronics
So many new devices, like multi CD changers, DVD players and other
do-dads.
· Batteries, chargers and cables
Ah, yes: auto parts you cannot do without—battery and battery
accessories.
· Body Repair Parts
These are many such auto parts, some cosmetic and some more important
and if not repaired your car is not drivable. Doors, truck bed parts,
lights etc. fall into this category.
· Brakes
If your breaks are not in good shape, well, do I even need to explain
the dangers?
· Bumpers and bumper guards
Not essential auto parts but not without great purpose. These auto
parts can spare your car real damage if you get into a minor collision.
· Car care and chemicals
Check your brake fluids, oil levels and condition, refill your windshield
washer fluid etc. Most of these procedures are very simple, but
if you do not know how to do these things, check your auto manual
or go to a mechanic regularly for check-ups.
· Car covers
An auto parts accessory, yes yet a very practical one to consider.
Do not let the birds poop on your car anymore—avoid scratches
and other damage with car covers.
· Carriers, racks and ladders
For the sporty stuff, these auto parts may be what you want for
a great outing or vacation.
· Engine cooling systems
There are particular types of auto parts for engine cooling systems—depending
on the type of engine cooling system your vehicle uses.
· Engine parts
Among the most important auto parts there are. You always want your
engine auto parts to be in great condition. To neglect your engine
auto parts may cause further and more costly damage later on.
· Exhaust and emissions
These auto parts are important for the sake of the environment,
in other words the air you breathe every day.
· Graphics, decals and accents
Fancy up your ride with personality. These, obviously, are not essential
auto parts.
· Hand tools
It is a good idea to have such auto parts at the ready in case of
a breakdown on the road. Do not just keep them in your garage.
· Hitches, towing and trailers
These auto parts are not vital to your car, but can prove to be
very useful.
· Horns
Yes, I believe that horns are vital auto parts. If you are in someone’s
blind spot, or any trouble of that kind, many accidents are avoided,
just by honking your horn.
· Navigation Systems
These auto parts are a great, new craze. Just tell the machine where
you are going and this auto part will get you there. It will tell
you when to turn and how much further you have to go before your
next exit or whatever. Cool—but not vital.
· Performance
Performance auto parts are usually only scoped out by racers and
people who want to brag about their cars performance abilities.
· Safety and emergency
There are many auto parts offered for your safety in case of an
emergency situation. Once again, not essential in the most basic
sense but can be a wonderful source for help in emergency situations.
· Transmission
If this particular auto part fails it can cause major and not to
mention extremely expensive problems for your car. Make sure your
transmission auto parts are always in great condition.
· Wheels and tires
Your wheels and tires are auto parts that are quite easy to forget
about if you are not paying attention. Some people get auto parts
like wheels, tires and hubcaps as impressive accessories (especially
with big vehicles with lifts), but you do want to keep a close eye
on these auto parts, if your tires get too old or go bald, they
can be punctured more easily and they can be especially dangerous
on roads made slick by bad weather conditions.
There are, as I said, many more auto parts out there, and much to
do to keep a vehicle in top condition. So pay attention to your
car, respond immediately when the “check engine” light
turns on, and be safe!
